Nintendo cut its sales forecast for Wii U and 3DS

Yes, revenues have increased in the last period.


The Japanese company Nintendo has informed this morning of a cut in their sales forecasts for 3DS and Wii U next year, although they have increased revenues to count the entertainment giant.

Apparently there have been a net profit of 14.5 billion yen for the nine months ended December 31, which has raised the net projection of 6,000 million yen to 43,200 million. The software looks great responsible for this increase, with a series of data that have been released and are detailed below:

· New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U) - 2.01 million
· Land Nintendo (Wii U) - 2.33 million
· Pokemon Black Version 2 / Pokemon White Version 2 (DS) - 7.63 million
· New Super Mario Bros 2 (3DS) - 5.96 million
· Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS) - 2.73 million
· Super Mario 3D Land (3DS) - 12710000
· Mario Kart 7 (3DS) - 39560000

But Wii U expectations for the end of March 2013 is now set at 4 million consoles sold, by 5.5 which gambled in October. Have been distributed so far 3.3 million Wii U, with 3.06 sold before the end of 2012. 3DS and DS are going through a similar situation, and it is predicted that Nintendo will sell 15 million units instead of the planned 17.5 for the former and 2.3 for the initial 2.5 second.
