Gunman Clive Review - eShop Nintendo 3DS

Thanks to digital distribution have learned that independent games can be as bright as those produced by large teams. Clearly, development of one or two people has its limits, but that does not stop when the authors will put their love and effort, the results can be magnificent. This is the case of Clive Gunman, an action-platform game created by two brothers from Hörberg Productions and despite offering a limited time of play, he does it with grace, taste, variety and charisma. If you like this genre and you have a 3DS, you can not overlook this gem born in iOS but reaching the laptop to deliver a more visually appealing while more playable thanks to precise controls.

Cowboy And Jumps
Gunman Clive offers a classic combination of action and platforms in two dimensions, where we take the role of Clive, a nineteenth-century cowboy in a Wild West full of thugs and outlaws. Mayor Johnson's daughter has been kidnapped and have to come to the rescue, a journey that will surprise us for many reasons. Interestingly, we can also start the game as Ms. Johnson, the kidnapped, who come to the rescue of a cowboy (presumably Clive himself, since history does not speak of this.) In both cases, we have to go shooting scenarios with different types of weapons to criminals and dangerous animals, dodging gunfire while trying not to fall into the void. At first we will visit areas with buildings typical of the times that require us to measure the shot to hit the enemy when he looks out windows, stops to shoot covered in boxes, or all those who await our arrival.

We will repeat this mechanic to dodge, jump and shoot at the right time in the style Mega Man until, when it seems that the game is limited to that, we face challenges clearly inspired platformer Mario Bros series and several mechanics who cliché completely unmarked originally proposed. Best of all is that you do not overdo it progressively and repetition, something that we felt fantastic and clearly playing in their favor, but is also guilty of the short duration of the title. Similarly, Clive Gunman flees full of game design that forces the player to retrace our steps, so that we are always moving forward and discovering new screens, back to an era where entertainment video games player took precedence over duration.

Very quick, but replayable
We place special emphasis on the game is very short (it took us an hour just terminárnoslo in the first game on normal) but so satisfying it is, we wanted to play with him. We have three levels of difficulty (easy, normal, hard) and two characters with differences in life, speed and jumping. Moreover, when we finish the game first to unlock a new character for their particular motivated us to enjoy ourselves again. There are markers of time and no damage completed at the end of each phase, which encourage those gamers who want to overcome again and again. Screens are ideal for very short play on a laptop and can play them back on a map selecting style New Super Mario Bros. Up to three time per level records, but unfortunately do not get early and we have no ratings online or via StreetPass, a shame because they are always helpful to replay levels. We also have three slots that allows us to have up to three saved games, ideal for those who want to have the games with all three characters.

Final Note: 8.5

RetroReview - Pokémon Gotta catch em' all!

If you ever dreamed of a new world full of new creatures within your pocket sure you are a fan of Pokémon. In this review we help you to better understand where they came from these friends that today you adore and with whom, surely, have shared several adventures, we invite you to catch all the hidden secrets behind this great saga!
These formidable creatures took the world by storm on February 27, 1996 the company developed by Game Freak, adapting to the popular Nintendo console, the GameBoy. Put on sale to the public in Japan, this game reached a great popularity quickly, its early versions Aka & Midori Pocket Monster (Pokemon Red and Green in English) offered to players long hours of entertainment with the news that had this product. Then I will make known some of the same mode of explaining the game and as it was at the time game

The game starts in Pallet Town, specifically in the Kanto area (this is not specified in the game itself, only in later versions). In the small town lives the player and his opponent, apparently this rivalry held since childhood, the latter was the grandson of the world renowned Pokémon researcher, Professor Oak, who want both start in the world of pocket monsters therefore donates his three precious rare Pokemon, Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle. Oak gives one to each. Appearing friendly, the teacher gives us the first choice but then we realize that it is part of the difficulty of the game because our opponent will choose the type of Pokemon that is strong against ours.

Pokémon is a RPG game whose main objective is to reach the Pokémon league and take on the High Command, for this the player must collect eight medals to get the respective defeating gym leaders scattered throughout the Kanto area. Meeting these goals requires the player on a journey in which you must complete missions and defeat the various types of obstacles in the way, most of them caused by a group of villains known as Team Rocket led by Giovanni who will do what is to fulfill its ambitions even if it represents a threat to the Pokémon and the world itself.

Differences between Aka (Red) and Midori (Green)

The real challenge of this game lies in the famous Pokédex, it is a portable electronic encyclopedia that records and describes all the pokemon you find in travel, which is given you by Professor Oak to choose your first Pokemon. To complete the Pokédex must obtain a total of 150 Pokémon caught which is impossible because of the differences between the two games is that there are Pokemon exclusive to each version.

Exclusive version Aka (Red)
Ekans, Oddish, Growlithe, Mankey, Electabuzz, Scyther and hence their evolutions.
Midori unique to version (Green)
Sandshrew, Meowth, Vulpix, Bellsprout, Magmar, Pinsir and developments.

To complete the Pokédex Pokemon needed to change to another player via link cable, it should be noted that some pokemon evolve only when they are exchanged, could also initiate battles between other players in this way.

Fun Fact
Pokémon Red and Green came while sales in Japan, but what many do not know is that the original version was never translated to Green America or Europe for reasons somewhat fuzzy at first, but was arguably because Pokémon Blue version, if you came out of Japan, would be an improved version of the Green since in the latter had many bugs that were upgraded to the version that he presided.

With this latest information we end our review, we hope you liked it and I make it clear that we are always willing to listen to you if they have questions or want to correct something feel free to leave your comments, do it all for you, our readers, to always be comfortable. A pleasure, farewell ErrorMacro.

Capcom would have liked that sales of Resident Evil: Revelations 3DS would have been higher

It was a "success", but they expected better results given the investment.

Resident Evil: Revelations will have a desktop version in a few months, a title originally appeared on Nintendo 3DS a year ago.

Capcom has admitted that sales of the 3DS version have been a success, but given the huge investment for the title, I wish it would have sold more, "Given the high costs of development that has taken the 3DS version , we would have liked to get some more sales in the end. But that does not mean they've seen as a failure. "

Clearing his response, says Kawata see it as "a success", expecting the same versions of PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U to be released on May 24.

CryTek is not interested about creating a third for Darksiders

The German company says it "does not fit" with their strategy

A few days ago we reported on the formation of a new study CryTek with some of the former members of the now defunct Vigil Games, including his primary responsibility David Adams. Faced with growing rumors of a possible resurrection of the Darksiders franchise, despite seemingly impossible by licensing issues, Cevat Yerli has been quick to deny them.

"We were surprised when no one opted for Vigil. Bid We would have liked, but there were too many unknowns," said Yerli. "We chose Austin as a destination for our brand in the U.S., and we needed a team of experts to launch the study. At the same time we did not want to continue with Darksiders 3 because it did not fit with our strategy, so when we heard that the team Vigil Games had been discharged in full by THQ, decided to fly and have a meeting to see if they were interested in joining our mission ... now that is something significantly different from what we have done so far.
