CryTek is not interested about creating a third for Darksiders

The German company says it "does not fit" with their strategy

A few days ago we reported on the formation of a new study CryTek with some of the former members of the now defunct Vigil Games, including his primary responsibility David Adams. Faced with growing rumors of a possible resurrection of the Darksiders franchise, despite seemingly impossible by licensing issues, Cevat Yerli has been quick to deny them.

"We were surprised when no one opted for Vigil. Bid We would have liked, but there were too many unknowns," said Yerli. "We chose Austin as a destination for our brand in the U.S., and we needed a team of experts to launch the study. At the same time we did not want to continue with Darksiders 3 because it did not fit with our strategy, so when we heard that the team Vigil Games had been discharged in full by THQ, decided to fly and have a meeting to see if they were interested in joining our mission ... now that is something significantly different from what we have done so far. "
