Code of Princess Review

I'm honestly surprised and greatly pleased that Code of Princess has been located. Not only because America tends to have an interesting set of priorities when it comes to issues of sexuality and outright violence (in this game, the former is much more evident than the second), but because this portable home family game is the Nintendo 3DS.

The main character in Code of Princess is a busty blonde princess outfit which certainly leaves little to the imagination. While she may be is stripped of many clothes, her story and the stories of their support team, they are so extravagantly dressed to the nines as they come. After his kingdom falls into a group of monster attacks and his family is framed as responsible for the vicious attack, the runaway Princess Solange makes your goal is to eliminate the unexpected truth.

On his journey he meets a cast of eccentric misfits important you're probably not used to seeing in a typical game of the genre. There is a necromancer composed of a mixture of previously used body parts you'd rather not be seen as a zombie, an androgynous elf bard who uses his instrument and music to spread pain and is indebted to a feline-looking Egyptian merchant, and a lone thief who was the subject of the mutiny of his clan. These main playable characters in Code of Princess, among many others, all have the deeper layers, both game and in history, which makes it the most fun game I've played in a while.

If you are familiar with the old school game of the SEGA Saturn, Guardian Heroes (which was remastered for Xbox Live Arcade last year), Code of Princess is often described as the spiritual successor to the fighting game beat-em-up classic. These influences include quite obviously in some selected game elements and obvious. Each playable character uses a unique set of flashy moves and skills to go into battle, and those options that offer means that you are forced to play the game in a specific way.

Although predominantly a 2D action game, Code of Princess is full of RPG content that accumulates in a variety of valuable spoils of victory, including the expected experience points, money, and equipment. Any good character modification is available, and you can equip each with increasingly useful articles. Of course, pouring skill points in various categories of attributes such as attack or promote vitality that customization.

Combat is actually quite accessible as slow attacks and powerful blends with weaker but faster, where chains of combos are possible if you attack in a timely manner. Moreover, activating an attack either temporarily or choosing Burst ensure an individual target, you will increase your ability to damage, combining the two is devastating. While this Code of Princess simplicity may seem laborious, there is a certain rhythm in combat rarely becomes heavy.

To increase the range of experience, you can then unlock and play as more than 50 characters. From unplayable NPCs usually the lowliest of enemies and bosses main, almost all the characters that are in the campaign can be controlled as fighting competitively or cooperatively with up to 4 players locally or online in multiplayer Versus. Complete the main campaign chapters of Code of Princess, which features multiple endings, also unlocks those late in the Free Play mode, where you can use any unlocked characters, offering lots of replay value.

Based on the stellar illustrations of Kinu Nishimura, each character feels incredibly unique. With stylish designs and distinctive places character animations, presentation is wonderful. The battlefield is divided into three planes parallel to your characters are free and with several layers dedicated to the playing field, the foreground and background, the presentation really benefits from stereoscopic 3D capabilities of the console hand. If there is one thing that this game lacks is sweet, heavy.

Despite its grim story externally, Code of Princess does well to keep the lightness in mind. Through their quirky heroes and villains and a very funny script, the game remains relatively cheerful experience. Where modern games do so many failed attempts to connect with the player taking on some emotional level too seriously themselves, Code of Princess succeeds doing the exact opposite.

It is likely that with so many big name heavyweights, rushing this season this game will go unnoticed in stores. That is a terrible shame because Code of Princess includes elements not only of the great past of gaming, but also shows that modern games do not have to follow a specific formula to be immensely entertaining.

The good about the game:
Lot of customization, Good history, great level design.

The bad about the game:
If u use 3D the game has several low framerates, the online mode takes too much time to connect with someone.

Veredict:
The woulda be awesome if dindt had those low framerates with the 3D option, also if u want to play online
it takes about 10 minutes to join with someone. But anyways the game is awesome.
7/10
