Mario Kart 7 Review

3, 2, 1 ...Go! The light turns green to make way for the title that will change the fate of Nintendo 3DS. The "7" Mario Kart is designed to perform such a feat, a video game with 32 circuits, 16 drivers, online gameplay and a wonderful consecrated becomes one of those pitches that justify buying a console.


Nintendo 3DS has needed a "7" to end his curse, but finally found it, and how ... If Mario Kart DS was a timeless work, which remained in the charts until the deserved figure of 22 million copies, its evolution maximized, Mario Kart 7, put on wheels comes to the recovery of a laptop severely punished since launch.

Piranha Plants trying eat, geysers spewing water that obstruct centipedes, rocks that come to us, we do skate pools, cliffs placed with very bad intentions, dangerous lava columns that run from the track ... In total, the game features the respectable figure of 32 tracks, half of them completely designed from scratch, proposing a tour Wuhu Island (Wii Sports Resort), make a journey on the galleon or Wario, among others, a renewed version of classics like Bowser's Castle. Until developers Retro Studios Americans have been encouraged to put their two cents with a new circuit: DK Jungle, with which we again demonstrate the excellent run of form in which celebrities are the creators of Metroid Prime.


For the dedication shown in each of the new tracks, we will make it impossible to pick just one. In fact, we are confident that much of the material is designed to be immortalized for future Mario Kart. A good example is the new Rainbow Road (which, incidentally, has three sections instead of three times), which will become, in all likelihood, one of the most memorable, both for its strong artistic inspiration as its successful visual finish (reminiscent of Super Mario Galaxy).

However, the 16 circuits "retro" remaining also have much to say, mainly because their makers, designers again Retro Studios have done a splendid job. Nintendo 3DS Preview represented in such classic tracks and iconic as Mario Circuit (SNES), Desert Kalamari (N64), Daisy Cruiser (Gamecube), Luigi's Mansion (DS) or Ravine Mushroom (Wii) is a real treat for our eyes as well to our hands.

And is that the work of Retro Studios has not only limited to the load increase or redesign polygonal textures, but also to bring to fruition the difficult task of adapting the gameplay itself and Mario Kart 7 genuine. Thus, we might consider until they are renewed (but maintain its essence "retro" and original soul) with the addition of the new possibilities of this work: collecting coins, boost jumps, skids with turbo, slipstream technique , new items ...

Veredict:

The gameplay is awesome, its fun to play with friends, the online system works pretty good, it will make you rage those blue shells when you are in 1st place.. but still this game is awesome..
